1、 Voltage and current
1. It is not recommended to use LEDs in parallel, because even for the same model, the working voltage of the same batch of LEDs varies to some extent, unless the current sharing circuit is well prepared.
2. When installing ultra bright white LEDs, anti-static facilities shall be provided, because even if the ultra bright white LEDs damaged by static electricity cannot be seen by the naked eye at that time, their service life will be reduced.
Led explosion-proof lamp is a kind of electrical equipment used in special industries, which mainly solves the lighting problem. It includes a lamp shell, a lamp shade arranged at the front end of the lamp shell, a luminous body and battery arranged inside the lamp shell, and a switch arranged on the surface of the lamp shell. 3. If the working voltage of the LED changes by 0.1V, the working current may change by about 20mA. Generally, series current limiting resistor or simple constant voltage circuit can be used to automatically limit voltage and current and prevent damage to LED.
4. The peak current of ordinary LED is 50~100ma, and the reverse voltage is about 6V. During the application of LED, it should be noted that the peak voltage and current should not exceed this limit when designing the circuit. (except for special and high power) when the peak voltage of the circuit is too high, it is very likely to damage the LED.
2、 Welding conditions
1. Soldering iron welding
When welding with a soldering iron for manual welding, it is required to use a soldering iron less than 25W (no more than 30W at most), and the temperature of the soldering iron must not be higher than 300 ℃. Generally, it is recommended to use a soldering iron at 260 ℃. The welding time shall not exceed 3 seconds.
2. Immersion welding
The tip temperature shall be 260 ℃ for immersion welding, and the immersion welding time shall not exceed 5 seconds. The immersion welding position shall be at least 2mm away from the colloid.
Remarks: after welding, the LED explosion-proof lamp shall be handled carefully when the temperature of the product drops to room temperature. Do not use hard objects or sharp objects to scrape, wipe, touch, squeeze or press the LED.
3、 Installation method
1. Pay attention to the arrangement of external lines to prevent wrong polarity.
2. Do not get too close to the heating element.
3. Do not install the LED when the pin is bent and deformed.
4. When installing led, it is recommended to use guide sleeve for positioning.
5. Before the welding temperature returns to normal, do not subject the led to vibration or external force.
4、 Element cleaning
The following procedure shall be followed for cleaning after welding.
1. The cleaning solvent can be Freon TF or alcohol, or other similar solvents.
2. The cleaning temperature shall be controlled at 50 ℃ for 30 seconds or 30 ℃ for 3 minutes. The temperature shall not be too high.

Note: pay attention when cleaning the colloid with chemicals, because trichloroethylene and acetone will damage the colloid surface. It can be wiped and dipped with ethanol, but not more than 3 minutes.
5、 Temperature characteristics
According to the temperature characteristics of the LED, the temperature rises by 5 ℃ and the luminous flux decreases by 3%. Pay attention to the working temperature and storage temperature of the LED in both winter and summer.
1. The minimum working temperature of LED lamps is -25 ℃, the maximum is 85 ℃, the minimum storage temperature is -40 ℃ and the maximum is 100 ℃.
2. The minimum working temperature of LED display screen is -20 ℃, the maximum is 70 ℃, the minimum storage temperature is -20 ℃ and the maximum is 85 ℃.
3. The minimum operating temperature of outdoor LED lamps is -20 ℃ and the maximum is 60 ℃; the minimum storage temperature is -20 ℃ and the maximum is 70 ℃.
6、 Other precautions
For exposed SMD LED under high temperature, do not squeeze its epoxy resin or scratch it with other sharp and hard objects, because epoxy is very fragile and easily damaged.
