In principle, the higher the lumen, the better! However, the increase of LED headlamp luminous quantity is realized by increasing the current. The greater the current, the greater the luminous quantity.
1、 While emitting light, the LED chip will emit heat at the same time. The increase of current is proportional to the increase of heat. The maximum heat dissipation is determined by the heat dissipation area and heat dissipation method of the lamp body. If the current is too large, the heat generated exceeds the maximum heat dissipation of the radiator, then the lamp bead is easy to burn out.
2、 The LED chip is also very afraid of heat. The working junction temperature of the chip can not exceed 125 degrees. If the heat dissipation is not good and the chip temperature is too high, the LED chip will soon decay and burn out.
3、 The higher the lumen, the greater the corresponding current, that is, the greater the power. The halogen lamp of the original vehicle is designed to be 55/60 watts. Too high power will make the line hot, accelerate the aging of the line, and easily cause accidents.
Therefore, the LED headlamp lumen is not the higher the better, but the maximum power is within 55W, does not damage the circuit, and the calorific value is controllable.
